Movie Mania - 1

Okay.. so why do we watch movies? Is it to escape the reality? To bond with it all the more? Why? So many whys and no answer, at least I don't have one. But I have my own interpretations for it.
When in college I may go to the extent of watching say 7 movies in a day, sometimes changing one movie in the interval and see the other one. It was amazing sitting in front of the idiot box all day long, being able to live the life that I may never be able to live in reality. The experience is almost liberating...it is actually fantastic...

Yesterday I watched three movies in a row - 27 Dresses,White chicks and yeah The Hangover. All in all a roller coaster ride from a loner girl's life who is ready to take life and responsibilities all on her frail shoulders and then boom we get into a jiggy wiggy party with the under cover FBI agents who are going through their share of attractions and mistakes.
Swoosh! You then wake up in a desert near LA to accompany a dunce, an attractive(read "hot")school teacher and a moron doctor out in search of their stupid ABOUT-TO-GET-MARRIED friend! Whoa, imagine yourself having all these experiences in one day....None of us would take that in. It will be totally devastating and may knock you out of your senses!
Ah well, this morning started with a dose of romance and realisation in The Proposal!
Well a sweet nice romantic movie of the MONSTROUS-BOSS-REVEALED-SOFT-HEARTED-LADY falling for her ALL SO GOOD ASSISSTANT!
So many emotions and there is one single theme that runs through all of them. Love and faith. That reminds me of LOTR-Trilogy,a beautiful portrayal of all human weaknesses and strengths spanning over three cohesive movies...following closely the jouney of Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee-the tiny little warriors to Mount Doom was a phenomena that is bound to stay alive in my memory for a long long time to come.
There are so many movies to be talked about and to be mentioned...It is like when I have the headphones on and the lights switched off, I am totally in there, inside the movie, feeling for the characters, running with them, thinking with them, crying and laughing with them.
You can feel the blush and the thumping heart of the character, all so in tune with reality. You empathize with them and when they fall in love you can feel the world that revolves around them.
That is the magic of movies... and I am totally spell bound...forever I believe...
And I am in love with it...
